Meet your tutors

Ben Tavassoli

You may recognise Ben as the lead role in Anthony Horowitz’s BBC One drama New Blood, or from the hit Sky One series Bulletproof.

He has starred in numerous other UK and US television shows including Silent Witness (BBC), No Offence (Channel 4), Tyrant (Fox), Death In Paradise (BBC), and most recently, popular prison drama Screw (Channel 4).

Ben also graced your cinema screens as the lead in An Acceptable Loss, alongside Academy Award winner Jamie Lee Curtis.

Jake Davies

You may recognise Jake from award-winning BBC drama The Missing, or recent Channel 4 drama Screw (alongside his fellow tutor!)

He has starred in a plethora of other hit television shows including Black Mirror (Netflix), Sherwood (BBC), Bad Education (BBC), Grace (ITV), Silent Witness (BBC) and Call The Midwife (BBC).

Jake also acted alongside Academy Award winner Mark Rylance in feature film The Phantom Open.

As well as DAA, Jake teaches at BRIT School and Kingdom Drama School.
